Today, July 3, Bishop Finn will offer Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception to pray for the preservation of religious freedom in our country, at 6:30 p.m. After Mass there will be a reception at the Catholic Center at 20 W. 9th St. This Mass will mark the closing hours of this special time of prayer, study, catechesis and public action. You can extend the celebration by attending one of the Informational Meetings About the HHS Mandate and Religious Liberty being offered by the diocese. Bill Francis, Director of the Diocesan Respect Life and Human Rights Office will host a series of informational gatherings to discuss the mandate of the Department of Health and Human Services, and its impact on our religious liberties.
